Daniel’s Head is Open for Summer

Daniel’s Head beach is open to all beachgoers for the 2018 summer season, Bermuda Land Development Company Limited (BLDC) announced today. BLDC welcomes back vendors from last year and is introducing new products and services available for visitors to enjoy.

“Last year, we reopened Daniel’s Head Beach to the public after making improvements to the property,” said BLDC’s Chief Executive Officer, Francis Mussenden. “Whilst we continue to market the area to interested developers and investors, we are happy to open the beach to the public again, so everyone can enjoy it, as well as give local entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their businesses.”

The popular floating water park, run by X20 Adventures, is back, offering slides, fun obstacles, and a new Kids Zone for smaller children to enjoy the fun as well. Co-owner of X20 Adventures, Dionne Tuzo, is happy to be back at Daniel’s Head Beach. “The beach at Daniel’s Head is the perfect location for our water park. We’re really looking forward to another busy season,” she said. “And we’re grateful to the BLDC for giving X20 the opportunity to set up our business last year and welcoming us back this year.”

Activities at Daniel’s Head beach include snorkeling and jet ski tours – both of which are new to Daniel’s Head beach this year. Snack Shack has returned, offering snowballs and snacks to beachgoers. Also new this year is Hardwired Jewelry Art selling original handmade jewelry. BLDC expects more vendors to open at Daniel’s Head during the summer.

“This year’s small business entrepreneurs will be able to provide a full contingent of products and activities to create a wonderful day at Daniel’s Head beach for both residents and visitors,” said Mr. Mussenden.
