Congratulations to BLDC staff who completed Arboriculture and Horticulture training
The course content included:
- Health & Safety including Risk Assessments and Site Assessments
- Recognizing safety feature of chainsaws
- Chain saw maintenance
- Starting, operating and safe use of saws
- Soil texture, pH and nutrient testing
- Pruning techniques for plant and tree health
- Propagating techniques
- Rope tying techniques for entry into trees for cutting
